DALLAS COOPER JACKSON
Dallas Jackson earned a BA in Fine Arts from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and a MFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). He is an educator and continues to create his art as a professional artist.
He works in a variety of media and creates work across various themes combining figurative, portraiture, and landscapes to creative narrative works.

Dallas Jackson (b. 1968) is a practicing artist who resides in St. Petersburg, Florida. He completed his MFA in painting in 2023.
He has maintained an active studio practice and has had several solo exhibitions at the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum, and various galleries.
His professional work includes art consultancy on a $8.5 Million grant with the University of South Florida.
He is a 2022 recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) grant working with visually impaired students and maintains a studio practice.
Dr. Jackson's work is focused on African American life in the 19th and 20th century and contemporary social issues that reverberate from that period in time.
